Bob Couture was born in 2020 out of Shaniz Muraya’s drive to balance her new role as a mom with her entrepreneurial passion. Working from home, Shaniz relied entirely on organic social media marketing to promote her business. Her personal touch and dedication to quality quickly resonated with clients, turning Bob Couture into a trusted name in hair care and styling. What began as a small venture laid the groundwork for something much bigger.
By 2021, the home-based setup was no longer enough to keep up with Bob Couture’s growing clientele. A chance meeting with Miss Brenda at a women’s event at The Curve turned out to be a game-changer. Brenda offered Shaniz a small office space in Kilimani, providing the business with its first physical home. This cozy yet professional space allowed Shaniz to connect more deeply with her clients, giving the business room to thrive and setting the stage for what came next.
With momentum building, 2022 was a year of significant growth for Bob Couture. Social media efforts expanded to new platforms, attracting an even wider audience. The increased demand prompted a move to a larger, more prominent space at Hurlingham Court. This new location became a sanctuary for women from all walks of life, offering them a place to transform their looks and boost their confidence. Bob Couture firmly established itself as a trusted beauty destination, both online and offline.
In 2023, Bob Couture took its services to the next level by introducing a professional makeup artist to the team. This addition complemented its hairstyling services perfectly, creating a complete beauty experience for clients. Women could now enjoy a seamless transformation in one visit, leaving the studio with stunning hair and a flawless face.
